The Concord Museum’s 32nd Annual Garden Tour will take place June 25 to 27 and will take participants on a private tour of some of Concord’s properties, showcasing creative garden designs, flowers and landscapes and endless inspiration for outdoor living and entertaining.
The six-episode virtual series, led by garden guide Ellen Hartshorne Whitney, is sponsored by Mahoney’s Garden Center and several other generous local businesses.
The 2021 Garden Tour is organized by the Concord Museum’s Guild of Volunteers and is co-chaired Pat Sinton and Ellen Hartshorne Whitney. The series is produced by Sam Krueger Cinema and all proceeds of the fundraiser support the museum’s education and public programs.
In addition to the narrated virtual tours, participants can enjoy gardening tips, DIY projects, pop-up shops and free admission to the museum with on-site garden activities during the event weekend including flower arranging demonstrations by Marta Taylor of Bloom Concord and Elisa Scola, president of the Wayland Garden Club. Downtown businesses will be donating proceeds to the Garden Tour fundraiser including J. McLaughlin, Sara Campbell, COMINA, Holiday and Eden Pond.
